Melanie’s book is primarily written for newly qualified yoga teachers working in gyms and is presented using the Ashtanga Yoga primary series, however the concepts in the book are relevant outside of this remit. It is broad in its reach, covering material including teaching ujjayi breathing, bandhas, dristi, asana and the more spiritual aspects of yoga. Both in format and content, the book is very practical, with clear photographs and further reading suggestions.
